AFS Rediwall behaves very similarly to Dincel Wall, through Dincel probably has better Waterproofing details.
WATERPROOFING
Typically, different to the AFS Logicwall, Rediwall has a thin Polymer Layer on both sides which serves as Waterproofing Membrane. Therefore, when apply this system to basement or any area below NGL, it need not requires any tanking externally. A typical spoon drain detail maybe advised by the engineer if the wall is used to retain certain volume of soil.
FINISHES
Render finish to be applied directly to the Rediwall. Allow 6-10mm conventional Cement Build-up including Texture Paint & Coating for External Render.
INSTALLATION
There is a high tendency that low-skilled tradies are hired to install the AFS wall as the installation of such system does not require much experience, labouring and handling. However, there is a potential that these people may install the walls incorrectly, resulting in messy joints or even having the whole panel installed upside down.
AFS REDIWALL
Rediwall is particularly useful for constructing subterranean structures such as retention tanks, car parks and basements. It can also be a great solution for above-ground applications such as party walls, columns, retaining walls, landscaping walls and planter boxes.
AFS LOGICWALL
Logicwall is used as both internal and external walling solutions. It might be used for balcony blade walls that align with internal walls, balustrades for residential buildings, internal party walls and corridor walls where a minimum thickness can be used for space utilisation, and boundary walls.
