Generally, the contractor will engage a pool contractor to provide pool equipment information and review material specification. Fundamentally, you should choose proper pool tiles for the pool while the coping material is more flexible (likely to match the flooring finish.) While waterproofing layer is essential for swimming pool, you generally need not specify the product in the documentation.
WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE
Pool tile has been specially manufactured to stand up to sunlight, changing temperatures, an aquatic environment, and constant contact with the chemicals in swimming pool water. Regular household tile – such as bathroom and kitchen tile — isn’t designed for outdoor use and may not offer the same durability.
